After seeing them everywhere and a lot of deliberation I finally got around to nabbing one of these little things. For being such a small vector network analyzer, my attention was very quickly piqued. This little touch screen box remarkably manages to read SWR, return loss, phase, and a bunch of other parameters from an astonishing range of 50kHz to 4.4GHz! Looks like this is going to be a pretty nice little tool that’ll let me explore doing my own RF and microwave design at home.

I went with the newer V2 model made by SYSJOINT as opposed to the V1 for the increased bandwidth, dynamic range, and even 301 sample points per calibration sweep as opposed to 101. Quite the little box.
